JAMMU, Oct 5: The members of Jammu Automobiles Dealer Association today called Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Jammu, Dhananter Singh and ARTO Mohd Saleem here today and projected their issues.
Davinder Batra, president of the Association during meeting with Regional Transport Officer reffered to the latest circular issued regarding time limit of completing all the formalities at the time of Registration of vehicles at dealer end and affixing of HSRP.
The issue of on line renewal of trade certificate was also discussed where in a lot of formalties are to be completed which basically is a requirement at the time of issuing a fresh trade certificate and the Regional Transport Officer assured that minimum and genuine formalities will be intimated very shortly to be uploaded in the system.
Regional Transport Officer also suggested for frequent interactions with the auto dealers. The dealers requested for a notification to be issued by Regional Transport Officer in the Media/Newspaper educating the customer about the documents to be submitted at the time of purchasing the vehicles so that the process of registration is not delayed.
The meeting concluded with a positive note and Pradeep Jain, general secretary presented the vote of thanks.
