CHENNAI, June 25: The 12th edition of the biennial Automotive Engineering Show
would be held here from July four to six.
The India’s leading exhibition focused on automotive manufacturing technologies, will host over 100 exhibitors.
The exhibition will showcase technologies for industrial automation, robotics, 3D printing, rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, measuring and testing, power tools, software
over the three days, a release from Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, which is organising the show, said on Tuesday.
The business event would witness the presence of Industries Minister M C Sampath.
While product introductions and live demos have been lined up by market leaders such Baumer India, Bharat Forge, Carl Zeiss, DesignTech Systems, Festo India, Nikon India, Olympus, Pepperl + Fuchs, Schmersal India, Staubli Tec, Sick India, Tal Manufacturing, Wipro 3D; a host of companies from Chennai will be sharing stage with the technology leaders at the show.
This included Roots Industries India Limited, Elmack Engineering Services, Sunil Precision India Private Limited, Monotech Systems Limited, Precise 3d Metrology and Design Solution
Private Limited, Sealtech, AMRL Hitech City Limited among others.
Industries Department Secretary N Muruganandam said the endeavour was to make the state
a leader in transformative technologies in the automobile sector, particularly in the context of
the introduction of electric vehicles.
”Towards this, the government is taking several proactive measures to attract more investments
in the automobile component and general engineering sectors”, he said and added that this
exhibition will complement the efforts of the State Government in promoting the auto sector.
