SUCHETGARH, Dec 30: DDC Suchetgarh Member, Taranjit Singh Tony has asked the border youth to avail benefits of schemes to set up their units to become job providers rather being job seekers.
Tony was speaking at Kissan Loan Mela programme organized by Animal Husbandry Department (AHD) at Panchayat Sai Khurd wherein 134 units under Integrated Dairy Development Scheme were sanctioned.
He asked the youth to explore entrepreneurial avenues as the AHD has launched number of schemes with an aim to foster entrepreneurship in J&K with special focus on youth.
The DDC Member advised the youth to not depend on government jobs and instead of wasting time should start own venture by taking advantage of schemes being offered by AHD.
He appealed KVIB authorities to visit Suchetgarh and make the youth of the area aware about its welfare schemes.
Earlier, Dr. Sayeed Altaf, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Jammu, handed over 134 sanction letters to youth of border villages under Integrated Dairy Development Scheme for setting up their ventures.
Earlier, the daily cases sanctioned by AHD were sponsored under the supervision of Dr. Attri, Veterinary Surgeon.
Dr. Sayeed Altaf highlighted the developmental schemes launched by UT Government for welfare of J&K youth and also talked about subsidy being provided for setting up ventures.
