To ensure inclusivity, Government should propose the following steps:
Simplified Registration: Conduct camps in underserved areas to assist with registration on the national portal.
Awareness Campaigns: Use local languages for (IEC) Information, Education and Communication materials to ensure information reaches all sections.
Microfinancing: Partner with banks to offer low-interest loans, covering initial costs after subsidies.
Community Models: Promote shared solar systems for low-income neighborhoods to reduce individual costs.
Dedicated Helplines: Establish help lines for personalized support and grievance redressal.
These steps can empower poor consumers to adopt solar energy and alleviate their financial burden.
