SRINAGAR: Authorities today issued an avalanche warning advising people living in upper reaches of Ganderbal district of central Kashmir to restrict their movement.
“In view of bad weather conditions and apprehension of avalanches, people living in upper reaches including Sonamarg, Sarbal, Nelgrath, Gagangeer, Razin, Naranag and adjoining areas are advised not to venture out during night and restrict their movement during the day,” Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Sarmad Hafiz said.
Higher parts of Kashmir witnessed moderate to heavy snowfall last week, while weather office has predicted more snow during this week. (Agencies)
