SRINAGAR: The State Legislative Assembly speaker, Kavinder Gupta today asked mediapersons to avoid use of mobile phones during proceedings of the House.
Mr Gupta said mediapersons should avoid using mobile phones in the press gallery during the proceedings. Deputy Speaker Nazir Gurezi also directed security guards not to allow bottles carrying water or juice in the House from tomorrow.
Responding to the issue raised by Mian Altaf Ahmad, the Deputy Speaker said Doordarshan and other media channels should be fair and objective in reporting the proceedings. (AGENCIES)
