Srinagar, Mar 20: Almost all the interior roads of Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district are in dilapidated condition, resulting in extreme inconvenience to people.
The roads leading to Awantipora Town which include Bouhoo and Padgampora are in bad condition as they have developed potholes. The locals said that the commuters as well as pedestrians face inconvenience and the problem grows in times of inclement weather.
“Due to downpour, the rain water accumulates in these potholes and results in inconvenience to people including small kids who go to schools an tuition centres,” said the local residents and sought repair as well as black topping of the damaged roads.
