Awarded Gojri feature film ‘Ye Rodiya’ screened at Jammu

JAMMU, June 21: The recently awarded Gojri feature film “Ye Rodiya” by Sereene Films as its debut production was today screened before a galaxy of guests besides the cast and crew of the film here. The film brought laurels to the J&K UT and Jammu Province in particular.
“Ye Rodiya” brings forth the untold apathy of the nomadic tribe popularly recognized as bakerwals from Jammu made a mark in its debut entry at J&K International Film Festival (JAKIFF) at Pune, Maharashtra. This was the first ever film festival organized by Sarhad, a Pune based organization.
The film which is the debut production of Sereene Films–a Jammu based production house left an indelible mark on the jury members of JAKIFF, Pune who shortlisted this film for an Award.
Among quite a number of films screened at the Film Festival the Gojri Film “Ye Rodiya” by Sereene Films was widely appreciated.
In an Award ceremony in a jam packed auditorium the Director for the film was presented with the Second Best Award in the Feature Film category. Producer Sanjay K Raina and the Director Sachin Dhar presented the Award by the Ex Home Minister of the Government of India, Sushil Kumar Shinde.
The cast and crew of the Gojri Film included Sunil Koul, Ritu Mehra, Anjana Mishra, Manoj Bhat, Balwinder Singh, Ayan Ali and Pankaj Handoo were the main Actors where as the technical team comprised of Parvez Malik and Sachin Dhar, Arshad Nawshehri, Virender Sumbly, Rajesh Khar, Ashish Raina, Kamal Chand, Sameer Pratap Sharma, Rajesh Handoo, Raffaquit Malik, Ritu Mehra, Rinku Bhat, Mohit Garg, Sanjay K Raina and Sachin Dhar. The equipments were hired from AR Fotography owned by Ashish Raina. The dubbing, music and folley were done at Kongposh Audio Studio and the Post Production was done at Prayag Films at Jammu.
