JAMMU, Jan 7: An awareness programme for employers about implementation of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojna (ABRY) to incentivize creation of new employment opportunities in EPFO registered establishments was conducted by EPFO (Employees Provident Fund Organization), Govt of India, Jammu in collaboration with Bari Brahmana Industries Association at BBIA Bhawan here today.
The programme was attended by Lalit Mahajan, president BBIA, K. Prashant, Regional PF Commissioner, EPFO, Tarun Singla senior vice president, Ajay Langer vice president, Viraaj Malhotra general secretary, Rajesh Jain, secretary, Vivek Singhal Treasurer BBIA, R Hariharan, Enforcement Officer PF and Members of Bari Brahmana Industries Association.
While welcoming the officials of the EPFO, Jammu and members of industrial fraternity, Mahajan appreciated the steps taken by Employees Provident Fund organization, Jammu for conducting such seminar to educate the industrial sector in respect implementation of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojna (ABRY) to incentivize creation of new employment opportunities in EPFO registered establishments and stated that this EPFO Scheme is very beneficial for giving employment to new employees and Re employing persons from Low Wage Bracket who lost employment during COVID-19 pandemic from 01-03-2020 to 30-09-2020.
While speaking on the occasion, K. Prashant, Regional PF Commissioner, EPFO, appreciated the steps by the BBIA to educate the Industrial fraternity and requested the unit holders to contact the EPFO Department in case of any query. A power point representation was given by R Hariharan, Enforcement Officer PF Jammu in respect of implementation of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojna (ABRY) to incentivize creation of new employment opportunities in EPFO registered was also given during the seminar.
