DANSAL, Aug 28: An awareness campaign was organized by Teshil administration, Dansal for the implementation of J&K Instrumentals (control of noises) Act, today.
In this regard, an awareness rally was organized from Tehsil Office to Government Higher Secondary, School, Dansal. School students, staff, Revenue officials and general public participated and public was sensitized regarding ill-effects of noise pollution and control measures and punishments for the violators.
Tehsildar, Dansal speaking on the complain highlighted the provisions of the Act and directions of Supreme Court. Thereafter a painting competition was organized at Government Higher Secondary School in which students of different schools participated and conducted their message through the medium of their postings.
Public notice was displayed at different locations of the tehsil for the awareness of people.
