JAMMU, Mar 18: Block Medical Officer (BMO) and Child Development Project Officer, ICDS Project Kot Bhalwal organized awareness-cum-free medical checkup camp at Mathwar in collaboration with Seva Bharti.
A large number of people attended the camp, in which Amar Jyoti Raina, CDPO Kot Bhalwal threw light over services of ICDS and also highlighted the benefits of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme.
Dr Sushma Mattoo, BMO Kot Bhalwal along with team of doctors conducted free medical checkup and provided medicines to the patients.
Dr Mattoo aware the masses about various issues including personal hygiene, communicable diseases, swine-flu, etc.
BMO Mathwar also briefed in total sanitation and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Ram Pal Sharma, sarpanch Mathwar also expressed his views.
TSWO Jammu highlighted importance of social welfare schemes and filled NOAP/ISSS forms.
