JAMMU, Nov 19: State Taxes Department organized an awareness-cum-training programme of DDOs with respect to Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) under Section 51 of the J&K SGST Act 2017, at Conference Hall of Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The programme was organized under the supervision of Kanchan Bala DC (IT, DA & EI) and Ritu Mahajan DC (Enforcement) and overall supervision of Dr Rashmi Singh, Commissioner State Taxes.
Under the guidance of Director General Family Welfare, Immunization & MCH and Director Health Services Jammu Dr Saleem-Ur-Rehman, all DDos of Health Department of Jammu district attended the training programme.
During the programme, the DDOs were enlightened about financial aspect and all confusion prevailing over TDS under Section 51 of J&K SGST of 2017 Act was laid to rest. The speakers were State Taxes Officer Sachin Gupta, Anisa Nabi, Mavesh Ara and Naresh Koul.
The programme ended with vote of thanks presented by Dr Parveen Yograj (Medical Superintendent, Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu) to officers of State Taxes Department and all DDOs of Health Department Jammu.
