Awareness program organized for students

JAMMU, May 5: To create a lawful society in J&K under project ‘Safe J&K, Safe India’, Criminologists Society organized an awareness program for students in MHAC School, Nagbani.
While speaking on the occasion, Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, president of Criminologists Society said that they have sensitized more than 10,000 people directly and more than one lakh indirectly to bring changes in their behaviors and has made them law abiding citizens. He urged the students not to take drugs to counter any feeling of less fulfillment of their dreams.
Prof Shashi Manhas from the Department of Human Development told the students about the physical and emotional changes which occur during the onset of adulthood and told them to adjust by adopting various coping techniques, offered by her. Brig BS Sambyal, an alumni of the school, offered his help in career building of the school students.
Ranjeet Singh, Deputy Advocate General of J&K, former alumni and general secretary of the society offered his help to the students in following good and healthy practices to avoid falling in the trap of illegalities.
