Awareness programme under “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” organised

JAMMU, Jan 29: To address the concerns as well as the issues of employees and employers, an awareness programme under “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” was held here today.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Regional PF Commissioner- for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, Rizwan Ud Din and was held in collaboration with the Chenab Valley Power Projects Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, PF Commissioner Rizwan Ud Din highlighted the importance of enrolling employees under PF and Pension Fund and emphasized the need for timely contributions to protect their families in the event of any untoward incidents.
He said that “The Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 programme has provided a platform for employers and employees to address their concerns. Through this outreach effort, we aim to ensure that employees receive their rightful benefits and employers understand their responsibilities. We are committed to creating a secure and transparent environment for workers in our region.”
The Commissioner also met the workers at M/s Ratle Power projects site and also met president Ravi Kumar Sharma and general secretary Jeevan Lal.
He listened to the workers and issued necessary directions to the employer on the spot to resolve their issues and submit the compliance report within two days.
The PF Commissioner directed employers to submit relevant documents for settling cases, ensured the correction of UAN details for PF deposit, and addressed the issue of providing pension to the dependents of an employee involved in an accident.
The CVPPPL and various agencies assured the formation of a grievance cell to address the concerns faced by contract employees and employers in coordination with the EPFO.
PF Commissioner Rizwan Ud Din thanked CMD, NHPC Rajeev Kumar Vishnoi, and Ramesh Mukhiya, MD, CVPPPL, for their support in organizing the successful event for the benefit of the employees.
Neelam Shami Rao, Central Provident Fund Commissioner, graced the event via video conference and addressed the program.
HOPs of Pakal Dul, Kiru & Kwar HE Projects of CVPPPL and over 250 contractors & contract staff engaged by CVPPPL and other agencies working in Kishtwar were also present during the programme.
