Awareness programme under ‘Swachh Survekshan’ organized

JAMMU, Nov 7: To raise awareness under the ‘Swachh Survekshan’, a programme “Mera shehar meri pehchan” 2024 organized at Bee Enn College of Nursing, Chak Bhalwal, was held here today.
The motive behind organizing the programme was to raise awareness about Swachhatta and promote cleanliness drive among students.
The program was organized by Government Maternity Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, in collaboration with Bee Enn Nursing Institute and College of Nursing.
The event started with Lamp lighting ceremony by Chief Guest Dr. Arun Sharma, Medical Superintendent of Gandhi Nagar Hospital.
Welcome speech was given by Neetu Sharma, Principal, Bee Enn Nursing Institute.
Students participated in the speech competition of this year theme “Mera shehar meri pehchan”.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Arun Sharma emphasized on the important of proper waste disposal and also highlighted the efforts of Jammu Municipal Corporation in keeping the Jammu Clean and Green.
He also shared knowledge regarding Swachhtta App and inspired the audience to be the active participant of Swachh Survekshan.
The program concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Isreal Jeba Prabhu, Vice- principal, Bee Enn College of Nursing.
Akash Masih, Comedian and RJ Chaitanya also gave their presence in the event.
