MAHORE, June 13: The Sub-divisional administration organized a rally against use of plastic bags, here today.
Various schools and officers of Sub-Division Mahore participated in the rally, which started from Government HSS Mahore and passed through the market area and re-assembled at the SDM headquarter.
During the rally in market area, polythene bags were also seized from shopkeepers and they were directed to use jute bags in place of plastic bags.
The rally was addressed by SDM Jitender Mishra, Tehsildar Mahore Chand Singh, SDPO Mahore Mohd Aslam Mir and some students.
Jitender Mishra laid stress upon the Beopar Mandal Committee and students of Mahore sub division to cooperate and make Mahore polythene free.
