JAMMU, May 25: Shri Sain Charitable Trust for Higher Education,Jammu conducted Transitional Curriculum “Ayurdiksha” for fresh batch of BAMS students at Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR), Nardni Bantalab, Jammu.
During the program, the students were acquainted with the fundamentals of Ayurveda as well as its scope and importance through a series of lectures by the Faculty members of the Institute and guest lectures from eminent personalities associated with Ayurveda like Dr Jatinder Gupta,Retd.Assistant Director,Dr Sakshi Sharma,scientist from RARI, Delhi, Dr Shashikala Bani, Prof and Dr Raghavendra Shettar, Associate Professor RGES, Ron, Karnataka, Dr Hetal, Professor, NIA, Jaipur, Dr Manisha, Govt Medical Officer, Akhnoor and Dr Poonam Mohod, Research officer, RARIUD, Jammu.
The programme culminated today with last day being allocated for visit to Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI) , Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, Rajinder Nagar, Bantalab, Jammu. Assistant Director Incharge Dr. Gopesh Kumar Sharma, Research Officers Dr. Shah Aaditya Bhuvanbhai, Dr. Subhash Sharma and Talat Anjum guided the visit.
