Azad demands early opening of dialogue in Kashmir
No logic in mourning death of Burhan: Azad

NEW DELHI: Senior Congress leader and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today reiterated that the Centre should immediately initiate a dialogue with the people and leaders of the troubled State.

“PM should initiate talks..,..Unless they take a step forward, situation in J&K won’t improve”, the Congress quoted Mr Azad as saying on its official twitter handle.

The Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha has been urging for sometime to open talks over Kashmir and send an all-party delegation to the state for helping in mitigating the situation and restoring normalcy. His party colleague and former Union Home Minister P Chidambaram also stressed upon the need for sending an all-party delegation to the protests-rocked State. (AGENCIES)
