UDHAMPUR, Nov 2: Ruling out any pre-poll alliance with Panthers Party, senior Congress leader and leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad today predicted that the party would form next Government in Jammu and Kashmir on its own.
Mr Azad was here for interaction with local Congress leaders from Udhampur district during his brief stay in the town.
He told the workers that party can taste the victory in all three constituency of Udhampur district if the cadre remains united. He thanked voters, especially of Christian and Sikh communities who voted in favour of Congress in the Parliament elections 2014 from Udhampur – Doda constituency.
Azad assured party workers that he would be available for campaign in Udhampur Assembly constituency for one week.
Prominent Congress leaders, who interacted with Azad, included District Congress Committee president and former President of Municipal Council Udhampur, Ashok Gupta, Brij Mohan Sharma, Sayed Shakil Shah, Sanjeev Dubey, Ashwani Khajuria, Sumit Magotra, Vijay Manhas, Ravi Shastri, Shashi Manhas, Ramesh Sadotra, Shivam Sharma, Manav Upadyay and others.
