Azad to visit Kashmir today

JAMMU, Aug 7: Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and former Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will visit Kashmir tomorrow to meet various leaders detained by the Government.
PCC chief spokesman Ravinder Sharma said that Azad accompanied by PCC president, Ghulam Ahmed Mir, who is also presently in Delhi will leave for Srinagar tomorrow morning. He will meet the party leaders there and take review of the present situation in Kashmir.
The PCC spokesman has condemned the detention and house arrest of many leaders in Kashmir besides restrictions imposed on the movement of some own party leaders across Kashmir and Jammu regions. He questioned the justification of such an action against law abiding citizens without any sort of unlawful activity. He said these restrictions are totally illegal and unacceptable.
