JAMMU, Apr 15: Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad is visiting Jammu and Kashmir on a two day’s visit to the State on April 17 and 18.
Mr Azad would fly to Srinagar on April 17 from New Delhi and join death anniversary celebration of former Union Minister of State for Home Maqbool Dar in Anantnag.
He would fly to Banihal and attend a meeting of the Congress in the afternoon. He would have a night halt at Patnitop.
Mr Azad would address a public meeting at Phinter in Billawar tehsil of Kathua district in the afternoon on April 18. The meeting has been organized by Minister of State for Cooperative Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, MLA Billawar and would be attended by top Congress leaders of the State including many Ministers.
He was scheduled to return to New Delhi in the evening of April 18.
He would address a meeting of Backward Classes Union at Sidhra Byepass on April 18 afternoon.
