JAMMU, July 1: B B Kerni was elected as the president of Wholesale Shoe Merchants Association (WSMA).
In this regard the elections for the post of president, Secretary General and Cashier were held here today.
The elections were held under the supervision of president, Ram Paul Mahajan and Satish Gupta.
Total three forms were filled and submitted by candidates and no one was in fray with them. As per constitutional mandate there were only three Posts for election.
BB Kerni of M/s Kerni Foot Wear was elected as President, Surinder Gupta, M/s K General Store as Secretary General, and Rakesh Gupta, M/s R R Trader was elected as the Cashier.
All three members took charge in the presence of senior colleagues and Chairman, Kamal Kishore.
Later, newly elected president, B B Kerni, while exercising his power under constitution nominate Amit Gupta, M/s B H Enterprise as Senior Vice-president, Satish Gupta, M/s A G Foot Wear as Vice-president and Suresh Gupta, M/s N S Trader as the Secretary as the members of his working committee team.
