DEHRADUN, July 20: The BFIT Group of Institutions, Dehradun is running various Bachelor & Master programmes under affiliation from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna (Central) University under six departments.
The departments include Life and Allied Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, Management Studies, Information & Computer Science, Polytechnic and Arts & Journalism.
The Group of Institutions established since 2002 has been newly crowned by Katalyst Research 2017 – Ranked No-1 multi disciplinary College in India.
Earlier, the BFIT has also been awarded Excellent Research & Development College of India; College for Management and Hotel Management in North India; College for Science & Technology, source- AITMC; Science & Professional College, source- Tv100.
Earlier, the students of BFIT Group of Institution have been felicitated with gold medals by the Governor of Uttarakhand in the University Convocation held in June 2017 for various programmes run at its campus at Dehradun.
The team of over 178 renowned Doctorate/ Engineering academicians are full time recruited. The campus is having extra ordinary hands-on practical in over 52 laboratories, two digital libraries with thousands and thousands volumes of books and licensed by NDL (National Digital Library) and DELNET.
BFIT Dehradun is not only on the fore front in academics, but also in sports, lifting the ‘Champions Trophy’ in 42nd and 43rd HNBGU Athletic Meet. BFIT is having in-campus indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
It is accommodating over 4000 students, having in campus separate hostels for boys and girls.
Chairman of the Institutions, S. Joginder Singh Arora lauded the efforts of the College Management for this achievement.
