JAMMU, May 20: Baba Kailakh Jyotish and Vaidik Sansthan Trust here today distributed epics (Ramayana and Bhagwat Geeta) and water pots (to feed thirsty birds) to the students of RPS School, Bantalab.
The whole programme was organised by the Trust President, Rohit Shastri in collaboration with RPS School Bantalab.
Chief guest on the occasion was Abhinav Sharma, President Bar Association Jammu.
On this occasion, Chairman Umeed Foundation, Surinder Singh Gilli said, it is very tough situation for the birds these days as in hot summer they find it very difficult to survive without water and many of them die due to this.
Abhinav Sharma, President Bar Association lauded the move of the Trust for distributing water pots to the students and he also donated Rs 21,000 to renovate Bantalab pond.
Mahant Rohit Shastri said that every human being must feed birds and animals as a moral obligation.
Others who were present on this occasion were Sarpanch Banatalab, Dharminder Singh, Sunil Sharma, Parveen Singh, Pandit Dev Dutt Shastri, Swarnlata Manhas, Daljeet Singh and staff of RPS School Bantalab.
