Baba Yogi hails massive improvement by SMVDSB

JAMMU, Dec 4:  Baba Hath Yogi ji, spokesman, Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, Haridwar, who paid obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi ji today lauded Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) for ensuring excellent management of the yatra and providing best possible facilities to the pilgrims.
Speaking to reporters, Baba Hath Yogi ji, who has been regularly visiting Mata Vaishno Devi ji for the past several decades, said that the Shrine Board has taken all the required initiatives for facilitating the visiting pilgrims in a big way.
He observed that the spectacular initiatives taken by the Shrine Board in the past couple of years have made this pilgrimage as among the best managed temples and shrines in country.
The Baba said that Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad is associated with the arrangements made for Kumbh Melas and he having visited almost all prominent temples and shrines in the country, is of the firm view that other such Boards can benefit from the rich experience and excellent management ensured by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board for the pilgrimage.
He particularly referred to the measures taken by the Shrine Board for ensuring protection of environment and ecology of the area, healthcare facilities, round the clock water and power supply, providing quality food on economical rates at the Bhojanalayas of the Board, appreciable maintenance and cleanliness of the track despite very large movement of mules and ponies, improved toilet facilities, best queue management, helicopter services on very economical rates,  installation of shelter sheds on the track and high rise fencing of the track at vulnerable spots to ensure safety of pilgrims  and augmenting accommodation facilities for them.
The religious leader particularly lauded the initiative taken by the Board for installation of Passenger Ropeway from Bhawan to Bhairon Temple and Material Ropeway from Siar Dabri to Bhawan and the establishment of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul at Charan Paduka.
He made a special mention of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University set up by the Shrine Board to provide education of high standard to the students and the upcoming Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence. He observed that the Shrine Board is making the best possible efforts for continuously expanding and up-grading facilities for the yatris to adequately meet the present and emerging requirements.
He congratulated N N Vohra, Chairman of the Board and its entire management for taking such historical initiatives. He said that he is highly satisfied with all facilities being provided to the pilgrims by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, which he termed as a role model for others to emulate.
He was accompanied by Mahant Durga Dass ji of Nirvani Ani Akhara, Haridwar and 15 of his followers to the pilgrimage.
