JAMMU, Dec 30: Baba Amarnath & Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas (BABAYN) in a meeting chaired by its president, Pawan Kumar Kohli while expressing satisfaction over some decisions taken in the meeting of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) said the decisions taken by the Board will go a long way in bettering the facilities for the pilgrims visiting the holy cave.
Addressing the meeting Kohli complimented the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha who is also Chairman of SASASB and other Board members for their sincere efforts to conduct yatra 2022 for full two months duration with other facilities like their safe and comfortable stay at Yatri Niwas buildings coming up at Srinagar, Jammu and Ramban districts.
He said, while facilities are being enhanced the number of pilgrims restricted to 7500 per day should also be enhanced from next year.
He also showed its utmost satisfaction over the proposal of Cable Car Project saying that it was the demand of Niyas for the last several years. “We will always remain ready for any co-operation to SASB for the betterment of this historic yatra”, Niyas said.
Others who were present in the meeting were Karan Singh Charak senior vice president, Sudarshan Khajuria, general secretary, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Anoop Mittal, Deepak Dhawan, vice presidents, Suresh Sharma, Deepak Sharma, B.K.Gupta, Sham Langer, Ravinder Mittal and Rajesh Bhasin all secretaries.
