DODA July 23: Pathetic condition of main Gandoh-Jaie road from Kota to Laduu is giving tough time to commuters here.
The dilapidated condition of the about nine kilometre of the said road, the commuters are facing hardship and the authority concerned still unmoved. “The construction of the nine kilometre stretch was started a few months earlier but after lapse of sufficient time, the executing agency has failed to complete it,” said Ch Ali Mohd.
“Due to bad condition of road as well as lack of proper drainage, the commuters are facing hardships in the rainy season, thus making the said road accident prone,” said Hakim Singh.
The locals appealed to the District Development Commissioner Doda to intervene into the issue and take necessary action.
