‘Badlav’ volunteers present memo to JU VC

JAMMU, Dec 28: The volunteers of ‘Badlav’ (students of Law Department, University of Jammu) today met Vice Chancellor, JU and presented a memorandum regarding cleanliness of the campus.
The volunteers have started an initiative to make the campus clean and green. They discussed various issues regarding cleanliness and beautification with the VC and highlighted various issues including the demand of installing dustbins at various places within the campus.
The team has started its mission from the Department of Law last month and carried it forward to the Jantar Mantar and the Dhanvantri Library area. The volunteers apprised the Vice Chancellor regarding various problems being faced and the works undertaken by the team.
The VC assured that the administration will provide full support to them. He further added that the university will work in coordination with the team to make the campus clean and green.
The volunteers of Badlav present in the meeting were Deepak Mahajan, Ajay Kumar, Shriya Sharma, Rupali Chadha and Sachin Sharma.
