JAMMU, Mar 12: People of various Biradries in Bahu Fort area today alleged that some elements were trying to mislead by giving colour of caste and religion to the locals’ opposition to encroachment of Shishu Samadhi (children’s graveyard) land.
Addressing a joint press conference, here today, representatives of Sarayara, Ravidass, Bazigar, Bhagat and Mahasha Biradari alleged that the piece of land cited for Shishu Samadhi by their ancestors was being encroached upon by some people, which was opposed by them.
“Over the issue, there were few meetings with all the stakeholders and a consensus was evolved.
