JAMMU, Jan 22: Bahu Plaza Occupants Association (BPOA) held a meeting and framed new body.
Anil Gupta was appointed as president of the Association, whereas Sudhir Arora as Chairperson, Raman Gandotra as vice president, Naveen Gupta as general secretary, Raghav Gupta as secretary and Inderpal Singh Oberoi as treasurer.
The working committee members include Satbir Singh, Jatinder Sharma, Gurpreet Singh, DK Pandoh, Arun Gupta, Naresh Gupta, Vijay Mangotra, Rohit Grover and Sidharth Samnotra.
Earlier, Sudhir Arora presented the welcome address and apprised the members regarding activities performed by the previous body.
Sudhir Arora informed that he has also raised the issue of parking, rent and other issues with Secretary Local Bodies Satish Nehru.
On the occasion, various problems being faced by the Association were discussed threadbare. The members expressed serious concern over the misbehaviour of parking staff, adding that the Association has already raised this issue with SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq Manhas.
The participants urged upon the concerned authorities to redress the genuine issues of BPOA viz proper system of parking, cleanliness, rent issue, provision of dust bin, map of the shop/offices and website.
