JAMMU, Mar 14: Principal Sessions Judge Udhampur Yash Pal Bourney has rejected the bail applications of four accused in the much publicized abetment to suicide case occurred in hilly Seoj Dhar area of Basantgarh Tehsil in Udhampur district.
After hearing Public Prosecutor for the state and counsel for the accused, court observed, “Shiv Raj has not been traced so far dead or alive and their release at this stage would certainly effect adversely the trial. However, accused Hassan Din is admitted to interim bail after taking into account the nature of evidence against him”.
However, the court rejected the bail of other four accused persons namely Din Mohd, Sadeeq, Ashiq Ali and Mohd Hassan.
