JAMMU, Jan 27: Railway Magistrate Jammu RK Lalhal has rejected the bail application of Sanjeev Kumar Manotra, who duped innocent people on the pretext of providing jobs.
After hearing APP Vikram Parihar for the police, the court observed, “in the entirety of facts and circumstances and considering the socio-economic nature, gravity and heinous manner in which the offence has been alleged to be committed and other facts and circumstances, law laid down, stage of investigation, interest of society the bail cannot be granted to the application”.
“Apart from this there is every reasonable apprehension of accused fleeing/thwarting the course of justice”, the court said.
