SAMBA, Feb 4: Principal Sessions Judge Samba MK Sharma has rejected the bail applications of Romi Masih, Deepak Choudhary, Pawan Kumar and Arinash Magotra from whom heroin was recovered.
After hearing Public Prosecutor Bhupinder Singh Charak for the State, the court observed, ” the menace of drug is eating the roots of the society and the victims are innocent school and college going children. Therefore, the petitioners/accused are involved in a case of serious nature and cannot claim bail as a matter of right”.
With these observations, court rejected the bail application.
