JAMMU, Sept 22: Principal Sessions Judge Udhampur, R S Jain today rejected the bail application of one Sudesh Kumar, an Army jawan, who was allegedly involved in the rape case.
After hearing both the sides, Principal Sessions Judge observed, “prosecution is leading evidence and the statement of the prosecutrix is yet to be recorded”, adding “looking to the serious nature of the allegations leveled against the accused the bail is denied to him”.
