Bail denied to teacher involved in spreading communal disharmony

JAMMU, Apr 1: Principal Sessions Judge Reasi Kamlesh Pandita has rejected the bail application of a private teacher Mohd Irfan, son of Mohd Yousaf Shan, who was booked by Chassna Police for the using unparlimentary language and uploading a video on Facebook.
After hearing the rival arguments and also perusal of the necessary record, the court observed, “the allegations against accused person are that he has uploaded video with the objective to create wedge and communal disharmony among some communities”, adding “at present the accused is not entitled to bail for the reasons that the accused has committed very heinous offences which are not against an individual but against whole of the society at large”.
Accordingly, court rejected the bail application.
