JAMMU, June 1: Court today granted bail to a youth today, who was booked in a forgery case during a special recruitment drive conducted by Border Security Force (BSF) at tehsil Akhnoor.
“The youth identified as Pardeep Sharma, son of Mohan Lal of Bardal, tehsil Akhnoor, was granted bail by JMIC Akhnoor in a case registered at Akhnoor police station under FIR No 116/13 under Sections 420, 467, 468 RPC”, police sources said.
The youth was booked for allegedly submitting fake documents for getting selected as constable during the ongoing special recruitment drive conducted by Border Security Force (BSF) at tehsil Akhnoor, they added.
“During scrutiny of the documents of the aforesaid youth, it was found that he had submitted fabricated documents (tempered SC certificate) following which he was arrested and a case registered at Akhnoor police station, sources said.
The youth was produced before JMIC today, Akhnoor and was granted bail, they added.
