KISHTWAR, Oct 13: The Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate here today rejected the bail plea of alleged kidnapper in much publicized case of abduction of a minor child Afnan Ahmed son of Afreen Ahmed resident of Chirala at present Link Road, Kishtwar who was kidnapped on September 27, 2022 from District Hospital Kishtwar.
The accused Shabnam Begum, wife of deceased militant Zahoor Din, at present resident of Kripak Mohalla in Kishtwar, has been lodged in District Jail Bhaderwah.
The bail plea was argued upon by a battery of lawyers, wherein the defence and prosecution officer contested as the case was of public interest.
After listening to both the sides the Chief Judicial Magistrate rejected the bail plea of the accused lady.
