UDHAMPUR, Mar 25: Devika Baisakhi Mela Committee deputation comprising chairman Advocate Surinder Khajuria and president Advocate Swatantra Dev Kotwal met Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Yesha Mudugal and sought administration’s active cooperation and participation in the 3-day traditional Baisakhi Mela commencing on April 13 at holy Devika rivulet.
They demanded that departments like Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Handicrafts, Handlooms, Health, Civil Defence, Power, W&M, CAPD, PHE, Tourism etc should extend the needed cooperation and make the general public aware of their policies, planning and achievements and the like by laying their stalls.
Others in the delegation included Sunil Badyal, Ashok Bakshi and Advocate Rahul Jandial.
