RAJOURI, Dec 9: Bajrang Dal and Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) today held a protest against National Conference president, Dr Farooq Abdullah for his anti-national statements and burnt his effigy.
A score of activists of Bajrang Dal and VHP this afternoon gathered at Jawahar Nagar and started raising slogans against NC president, Farooq Abdullah. Hitting out at Farooq Adullah, the protesting activists said that it has become a habit of Farooq and Omar of singing nationalistic songs while in power and siding with Pakistan and separatists when in opposition.
They said that present unrest in Valley was due to the anti-national attitude of National Conference, as its leaders are in the habit of issuing anti-national statements and provoking the peace loving people on one pretext or other.
Later, the protesting activists also burnt the effigy of Dr Farooq Abdullah.
