Bakaya flays JMC for poor development of Ward 71

JAMMU, Sept 25: Apni Party spokesperson and State general secretary youth, Abhay Bakaya has expressed concern over the negligence of Ward number 71 (Sidhra area) regarding developmental works.
Abhay chaired a meeting of party leaders and residents of Majeen Mohallah in Ward 71 wherein the participants informed him that basic amenities were missing in the Ward even as it comes under Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
Abhay said that JMC appears to have deliberately ignored the area and deprived the locals from clean drinking water, cleanliness, proper hygiene, garbage collection, round the clock electricity and proper road connectivity.
He flayed JMC for turning a blind eye towards the area and demanded development of Ward 71 and expressed surprise as to how the elected Councillor has failed to highlight the issue and get the concerns of the residents resolved.
Raj Sharma, provincial president Apni Trade Union; Puran Chand Rahi, district president SC Wing; Sanjay, Ghulam Rasool, Sushma, Shakti Devi, Parveen Kumar, Ashok Kumar and others were also present in the meeting.
