JAMMU, Oct 31,: Apni Party State general secretary, Vijay Bakaya has today convened a meeting of district presidents and Wing Coordinators at Party office Gandhi Nagar to discuss progress made in making Block and Booth Level Committees in the districts and completion of Wing Committees.
During the meeting, he was informed that work was being done on fast track basis and membership drive had also been accelerated
Bakaya explained to the participants that for the growth of the Apni Party, it was imperative that it should have a Cadre at the grass root level.
He hoped that the work of formation of committees would be completed soon and the number of members would also increase at a fast pace.
Bakaya complimented provincial president, Jammu, Manit Singh for having drawn up a schedule of Ward / Corner meetings which was a great initiative at the grass roots level.
He explained to them that under the leadership of Altaf Bukhari the Party had made rapid strides in a short time and it was performing a historical role by making the political discourse in the UT, truthful, pragmatic and result oriented.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Provincial President Jammu Manjit Singh, Additional general secretary (Organisation) Arun Chibber, provincial secretary / district president Jammu, Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta, District president Samba, Raman Thappa, district president Jammu Rural-A, Pushap Dev Uppal, district president, Rural-B, Harjeet Singh, OBC State coordinator Madan Lal Chalotra, State general secretary Youth, Abhay Bakya, Provincial President Youth Wing Jammu, Vipul Bali etc.
