JAMMU, June 5: Jammu & Kashmir SC, ST & OBC Development Corporation Limited organized an awareness camp under the chairmanship of Balbir Ram, Vice-Chairperson on the Board of Directors of the Corporation at its Head Office, here today.
During this camp, the target group beneficiaries under the Direct Financing Schemes of the apex corporations were handed over Payment Authority Letters (PAL) under the scheme of small and transport sectors by the Vice Chairperson, along with senior functionaries of the Corporation and BJP district president.
Balbir Ram, while extending his greetings to the loan beneficiaries, said that they have to make the proper use of the money which each one of them has availed in the form of loan.
He briefed the beneficiaries about the successful implementation and establishment of income generating employment units and urged them for regular repayments of loans to ensure that the same could be properly circulated among the target groups beneficiaries.
The Vice-Chairperson apprised that in other districts of Jammu Division, the assets shall also be distributed to the target group beneficiaries for successful establishment of units by organizing awareness camps. He informed the gathering about the other scheme of the Corporation under Bank-Tie up.
On the occasion, the Financial Advisor/CAO Vijay Kumar Tak also briefed with regards to schemes of the Corporation varying from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 10 lakhs in small business, service/allied and transport sector to make the target groups self reliant.
On this occasion, the Corporation Divisional Manager Gulam Qadir Khatana, district Manager Jammu Joginder Pal Atri, Manager Finance Anil Gupta and BJP district president Ayodhya Gupta were also present.
