JAMMU, Jan 2: 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Balgran – a charitable home for destitute children at Channi Rama, Jammu was held in its premises.
During the AGM, Hony Secretary of Balgran, presented the annual report and briefed the house about day to day activities of Balgran. He informed the members that work on first floor of multipurpose hall was in progress and completion would be done during 2022-23 with the help of donations from some members.
Audited reports of Balgran for the year 2021-22 were placed before the members and the same were approved by the house. Donations of Rs 19.20 lakhs by R K Gandotra, Rs 15 lakhs by Smita Priyadarshini and donation by the other donors were highlighted in favour of Balgran for construction of multipurpose hall.
On the occasion, one minute silence was also observed by the members on the sad demise of Dr K L Gupta, patron of Balgran.
