Balgran holds AGM

JAMMU, Dec 15: 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Balgran–acharitable home for destitute children, Channi Rama, Jammu was held today in its premises.
President of the Balgran, in his welcome address, briefed the house about day-to-day activities of the Trust. He further informed the members that J&K Bank is likely to start the construction work of Dormitory for girls on the first floor of the building of Balgran. He said with the completion of construction work, Balgran will have the capacity to raise the capacity upto 150.
The House proposed that maximum intake capacity of inmates should be kept upto 140 and 10 vacancies should be reserved for emergency purpose.
Honorary Secretary of the Balgran placed before the House the annual report of Balgran for 2017-18. During the meeting, revised budget for 2018-19 was also approved by the House.
Patron, AK Arora, also addressed the House and impressed upon the members that they should lay stress on quality of education and living of children so that quality lot passes out from the Balgran.
