Bali Bhagat chairs State BJP Election Committee’s meeting

JAMMU, Feb 24: : The first meeting of BJP’s State Election Committee’s Social Sampark Group was held at the party Headquarters here, today. The meeting was chaired by BJP senior leader and former Minister, Bali Bhagat in which conveners and co-conveners of 18 Assembly constituencies of Jammu province were present.
The meeting, decided that different programmes would be initiated in all the 18 Assembly constituencies from 27th February till the end of the Lok Sabha elections. The meeting also decided to organize similar meetings for other Assembly constituencies of both Jammu province and Kashmir province shortly.
The upcoming programs under Social Sampark Abhiyan, scheduled for March, will cover all 90 constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir. The programmes will reach out to intellectuals, doctors, engineers, professors, advocates, traders, senior citizens, retired officers/employees, retired bureaucrats, youth, students, NGOs, priests, Granthis, Paadris, Imams, Jain, Munnis, different caste associations, Mahila organization, Satsang groups, ex-servicemen, district/State/national/international awardees, sports teams/popular sportspersons, organizing tournaments, key voters, social and religious organizations, labor class (ShramikVarg), poors/BPLs, Hotel Associations, Taxi Associations, Transport Associations, Auto Associations, Riksha Associations, Shikara Associations, fruit growers, vegetable/ fruit vendors, Barbars, tea stallwale, artisans, Rehari and Phari wale, poet sammelans, organizing mushairas, organizing local and popular actors/singers, Yoga associations, gym, beauty parlors/saloons.
Speaking at the meeting, Bali Bhagat said that the Social Sampark Group is geared towards fostering grassroots connections, ensuring inclusive participation, and mobilizing support for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. He said that the party remains committed to engaging with all sections of society and working towards the overall progress and development of Jammu and Kashmir.
Co-convener Pt. Ashok Khajuria carried forward the proceedings of the meeting, and gave the vote of thanks.
