JAMMU, Nov 19: Senior BJP leader and former Minister, Bali Bhagat today launched a scathing critique of Congress leader Tariq Hammed Karra’s remarks on the Party’s so-called “Indian philosophy”.
The former Minister mentioned Congress leader Haji Sagheer Saeed Khan’s claims made during a press conference in Jammu, who stated that if Congress comes to power in Jammu and Kashmir, it would release jailed terrorists, compensate families of those killed in anti-terror operations with Rs 1 crore, and hang BJP leaders who authorized such actions.
Bali Bhagat called these remarks shocking and asked, “Is this Congress’s roadmap for India, or is it promoting the agenda of Pakistan along with the National Conference (NC)?” He reaffirmed the BJP and RSS’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism and protecting India’s sovereignty and integrity. He accused Congress of sowing chaos and attempting to replicate a “Bangladesh-like” situation in India following its massive defeats in the Lok Sabha, Haryana, and J&K elections.
The senior BJP leader criticized NC spokesperson and MLA Tanvir Sadiq for suggesting that restoring J&K’s full Statehood is essential to release “prisoners” and bring back individuals detained outside the region under the Modi Government. He questioned whether such demands align with the nation’s security interests or are yet another attempt by the Congress-NC alliance to disrupt peace and stability.
Bali Bhagat urged the public to see through Congress’s divisive politics and reject its dangerous narrative. He called upon people of J&K to support the BJP, which stands firm in its mission to unite the nation and eliminate terrorism from Indian soil. “Congress’s so-called philosophy of India is nothing but a ploy to weaken the country,” he asserted.
