JAMMU, June 20: Padamshree Balwant Thakur, Director of Natrang has been invited to the 5th Cultural Olympiad- 2015, Thailand as one of the cultural ambassadors of India to present his research paper dully supported by an audio visual presentation on the journey of traditional to contemporary theatre of India.
During the Cultural Olympiad, he will also present a vibrant dance based multi-media presentation on the cultural diversity of J&K with a group of 15 artists.
Organised by Global Council for Art and Culture, the event is aimed at spreading the global harmony through culture and is being held in December, 2015 in which cultural groups from all over the world are participating. The first Cultural Olympiad was also held in Bangkok in March, 2011 which had the participation of 187 countries and the last was held in Honkong in December, 2014.
