RS PURA, Mar 22: A Member of DGPC Jammu, Balwinder Singh has taken over as new president of All J&K Labana Samaj Sudhar Sabha.
Talking to media after the meeting of the Labana Sudhar Sabha members at R S Pura today, Balwinder Singh new president said that a general body meeting of more than 500 members from Labana Sikh community was held here. He said that after his induction to the post the new committee of the Labana Samaj Sudhar Sabha took over the charge from the outgoing committee headed by S Jagjit Singh (ex-president).
He further said that the outgoing committee has also handed over the record and documents pertaining to the Sabha to the new committee. The new members unanimously resolved to work unitedly for the betterment and up-liftment of the Labana Sikh community.
Besides Balwinder Singh, Jagjit Singh, Paramjit Singh, Mohinder Singh, Gurjit Singh, Surat Singh Toofani, Kuldeep Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
