JAMMU, May 16: Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) J&K unit has demanded immediate ban on the film ‘The Kerala Story’ in J&K.
In a press conference here today J&K Shiv Sena chief, Manish Sahni referred to a clash between hostel students of a college in Jammu over the film in which half a dozen students were injured and 10 of them were expelled from the hostel for two months.
The Shiv Sena leader said that films are meant for entertainment but when they spoil mutual brotherhood, they should not be allowed to be screened.
He said that hate speech comes under the category of crime and legal action should be taken against those films which work to harm mutual brotherhood.
