Sir,
‘Jammu’ popularly known as ‘The city of temples’, welcomes millions of people from other states and countries here as pilgrims to the holy Mata Vaishno Devi and Shri Amarnath every year. People from all over the world come to this holy city to find peace and protection at the feet of Mata Vaishno Devi and Shri Amarnath.
But is Jammu in peace itself? Every other day a controversy erupts in the city. Such bandhs make the lives of the common people difficult, especially students, patients, pilgrims, businessmen and aged people.
I, therefore humbly request all the stakeholders to discuss the problems on different forums, through media discussions and internet facilities, so that the lives of the civic people do not become miserable.
